Insect Production
Insect production as such is not a new commercial activity. Species, like the Black Soldier Fly (BSF), are rather efficient in their ability to valorize low nutrient dense organic waste or by-product materials into new, highly valuable and nutrient rich feedstuffs. So far, these new ingredients have been utilized predominantly in aqua and pet food. However, we are obsessed in making it a mainstream ingredient for feed in livestock of poultry and swine to largely replace fishmeal from the diets and soybean meal to a very significant extent.
What we offer? Our value contribution is based on our detailed holistic understanding of nutrient cycles, animal nutrition, feed mill operations, the feed industry and the livestock sector as end users and how to integrate and position insect derived ingredients (protein concentrate, fats/oils and others) in diets for young animal nutrition as well as rations used through their entire feeding program and lifecycle.
Who and what we want? We are looking for technology and/or JV partners as well as investors driven by a strong, purposeful sustainability agenda. In particular, we are inviting/looking for venture partners that contribute know-how and technology in BSF production or capital or both. We will develop and contribute the go-to-market-strategy and execute the commercialization of BSF-derived feed ingredients, meals and products, etc. for mainstream livestock in South-East Asia. We would be your local partner, distributor and or your local, competent point of contact in South-East Asia.
